Day #2 was mostly a travel day. This was one of the longest drives of the tour. West Wendover NV. to Walnut Creek CA. 600 miles, 8 1/2 hours. Along the way we stopped in Fernley NV. They have a Walmart... And a bathroom. We needed both. Apparently, some one else needed the bathroom much more than we did. The horror. We got over it and bought a 30 pack of Natty light and a bottle of Beam. Classy. 3 1/2 hours 30 Natties a bottle of Beam later, we roll into Walnut Creek. Our buddy Josh from Jokes for Feelings wanted to meet us for some beers at a joint called Mr. Lucky's. A few beers and shots later we're feeling pretty lubricated. Time for food. Among many objections from Drew, we decide on In and Out Burger. He is now faced with a dilemma. Eat hamburger < Stay married. Apparently he's in love cause that shit was tasty! For his valor in the face of Evil Beef he shall forever be called... Meatsy! At least for this tour anyway. Now fully satiated, and drunk. We decided on a Motel 6 and called it a night. Until tomorrow.
